Anyone can now go straight to some barristers for legal advice via the “Direct Access” scheme. Previously they could only do so by instructing a solicitor. This will not be right for everyone, but in some cases, it can help significantly to reduce the amount spent on legal fees, while still maintaining an extremely high level of legal representation.
We work closely with Direct Access barristers to undertake tasks which would otherwise have been carried out by a solicitor or by the client himself/herself.
We do not accept any payment for referrals we make to other professionals, nor do we pay anything for referrals we receive. Our referrals and recommendations are made solely on the basis of the high standards we expect for our clients.
